Today, I am writing on “how to promote a blog.” There are several ways of promoting a blog. Previously I wrote about promoting my blog through facebook, orkut or my space, any networking utility. I thought it would be better if my networks or friends saw what I wrote therefore I put my website on both of my social networking profiles. My statistics illustrate that the more friends you have in your list, the more your profile is going to be viewed. This makes complete sense because if you do not have enough friends then it is likely no one is going to view your profile. But, apart from that people on these networks seem to view such profiles. My blog stats have had increasing views but fewer comments. Therefore, I’m going to begin commenting on other profiles. Even though I tried commenting, I did not get any comments back on my blog.
This time I am planning to do the following:
1) In order to get traffic to your blog, one should write well. We all know no one will read our material if it is crap.
2) Change the design of my blog because such designs do attract bloggers. Pictures, videos, music, and wall papers etc, all attract bloggers. It is better if your blog does not have word press theme but something unique or by you. We all are creative enough to present our blogs differently therefore I am planning to change that too.
3) I am planning to comment on other blogs more than I did before so I can attract attention towards my blog.
4) Also I’m planning to make some friend bloggers.
